南澳大利亚粮食产量有望破历史记录

 

    据报道，周二粮牧报告（Crop and Pasture Report）发布粮食产量数据，大大超出此前在9月预计的880万吨，也超出了南澳州2010-11年度的最高产量纪录1,030万吨。

 

    农业、食品和渔业厅长比格内尔（Leon Bignell）说，破纪录的谷类作物中包括640万吨的小麦，这对粮农来说是极好的。这将是南澳连续第8年超出10年平均产量。

    GRAIN farmers are reaping a record crop as the long, cool spring continues to boost yields, forcing a dramatic upgrade of official forecasts to 10.5 million tonnes worth about $2.5 billion on export markets.

 

    The huge crop forecast in the Crop and Pasture Report released on Tuesday is well up on its previous 8.8mt forecast in September and compares to the State's previous largest harvest of 10.3mt in 2010-11.
