On 18 February 2016, Mo nsanto Europe N.V., ba sed in Belgium, submitted on behalf of the authorisation holder Mo nsanto Company, ba sed in the United States, an application to the Commission, in accordance with Articles 11 and 23 of Regulation (EC) No 1829/2003, for the renewal of the authorisation for the placing on the market of the products covered by Decision 2005/635/EC.In its opinion, the Authority co nsidered all the questions and co ncerns raised by the Member States in the co ntext of the co nsultation of the natio nal competent authorities as provided for in Articles 6(4) and?18(4) of Regulation (EC) No?1829/2003.The Authority also co ncluded that the mo nitoring plan for the enviro nmental effects submitted by the applicant, co nsisting of a general surveillance plan, is in line with the intended uses of the products.Taking into account those conclusions, the authorisation for the placing on the market of the products covered by Decision 2005/635/EC should be renewed.
