澳大利亚政府讨论牛奶价格问题

 

    据报道， 在牛奶价格听证会上，农业部官员和小企业人员、奶农各自发表了意见。

 

    年初，澳洲乳业巨头迈高Murray Goulburn公司和恒天然公司压低牛奶批发价格，导致奶农们的强烈不满，目前政府正在审查这个问题。

 

    澳大利亚奶农协会（Australian Dairy Farmers）提出由一个竞争监管机构对让奶农们陷入危机的1元奶价事件进行审查。

    The federal government's backpacker tax and the milk price crisis will come under the scrutiny of two separate parliamentary inquiries.

 

    Separately, dairy farmers, the Department of Agriculture and the small business ombudsman will appear before a committee looking into the dairy industry.

 

    The inquiry is scrutinising the impact of the decision of dairy giants Murray Goulburn and Fonterra to cut milk prices paid to farmers earlier this year.

 

    Australian Dairy Farmers says it's doing its best to help although it can't solve all of the issues.
