食品伙伴网讯 据外媒报道,澳大利亚竞争和消费者委员会(ACCC)已向联邦法庭发起诉讼,状告超市巨头沃尔沃斯(Woolworths)违反有关法律,压榨供应商。
澳大利亚竞消委指控这家连锁超市商为了降低其半年盈利缺口,而对供应商采取不合情理的行为。
据报道,去年11月Woolworths公司高层为解决5000万澳元的盈利缺口,公司智囊团队“价格和贸易投资组”提出了一个叫做“注意差价” (Mind the Gap)的活动,想从供应商那里获得6020万澳元的利润。该行为违反了澳大利亚消费者法(Australian Consumer Law)。

The competition watchdog has launched legal action against supermarket giant Woolworths for unconscionable conduct over its dealings with suppliers to urgently reduce its half year profit shortfall after discovering a $50 million hole in its books.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission instituted proceedings in the Federal Court alleging Woolworths acted in contravention of the Australian Consumer Law to eke $18.1 million from its suppliers.
