澳大利亚维珍航空向国内航班提供免费食品

    食品伙伴网讯   据外媒报道，15日澳大利亚维珍航空公司（Virgin Australia）宣布，所有国内航线旅客可以享受该公司提供免费食品。

    据报道，该措施包括每周一至周五下午5点至晚上7点提供免费的红酒、啤酒和软饮料等，是维珍航空公司向优质、现代化、全方位服务转型计划的一部分。

    维珍公司客户部门主任哈塞尔（Mark Hassell）表示，免费饮料和食品将根据旅途时间的长短定制。维珍航空还将继续向所有航班提供免费茶水、咖啡、果汁和水。乘客也可以按照飞机上的零售菜单点其它的食品和饮料。

    After years of waiting, Virgin Australia today announced to the travelling public that complimentary food will be served on all flights across the Australian domestic network.

    Today's announcement compliments Virgin's move to a full service airline with baggage and in flight entertainment already included in the ticket price. Virgin Australia Chief Customer Officer, Mark Hassell, says “The roll out of free food and checked baggage to complement our wireless in-flight entertainment, is an important part of our ability to deliver a consistent, premium service across our network,”

    The food and beverage service has been tailored to the time of day and the duration of the journey however the exact details on this are still to come as passengers receive the new service.
